For Our Next 50 Years
For almost 50 years, Camp Horizon has operated with mostly volunteer management and maintenance personnel. The size and complexity of our operations as well as regulatory compliance now exceeds the time available of our available volunteers. We need to recruit a small paid staff to handle fundraising, day-to-day management, maintenance and administration tasks so that our Foundation volunteer leadership can focus on strategy and our future.
Our goal is to raise at least $100,000 as “seed” money to fund the recruitment of a professional fundraiser (which we have never had before). This will in turn provide money for a small group of paid staff as indicated above.
Your generous donation of $50, $100 or any amount will be matched by our sponsoring contributors up to $50,000. Surplus funds, if any, will be used for facility improvements.
