New Website and Camp Review

To our Friends, Supporters and Sponsors

Welcome to our newly revamped website!

We’ve come a long way since our humble beginnings in 1974. From a 4-day tent camp serving 17 campers at the Lynden Fairgrounds to a 26+ acre campus in Birch Bay with nine buildings and over 260 campers. From a handful of volunteers to a staff of over 50 supported by 300+ amazing volunteers who contributed over 5,000 hours this year.

This year we served campers from Washington, Oregon, California, Montana, and British Columbia. Our youngest camper was 12 and our oldest was 82. On-site activities included bowling and archery with Adventure Camp participants treated to go-kart races, tethered hot air balloon rides and Naturalist-guided beach walks. The weekly Talent Shows were a “must see” and no one wanted to leave our evening campfires. There wasn’t a dry eye in the house when we sang “Time of Your Life” at the close of the Awards Ceremony and said our good-byes until 2020.

You make a significant impact on individuals challenged with disabilities. You make the smiles, laughter, and tears of joy possible through your support. You make it possible for the families of these campers to have a much-needed respite from their 24/7 care regimen. For one week each year, they can take a trip or relax with friends and family knowing their loved ones are well cared for thanks to you.

On behalf of the campers and staff, thank you for making 2019 a success. With your continued support we look forward to an equally successful 2020.

Hope to see you at Camp

Don Webster, Board President
